Practice
All cars registered have access to the track for open practice beginning on the Friday before the race. Friday night practice closes at 11pm.
Single Car Qualifying Format
For this event, we will be using Single Car Qualifying.
An electronic pill draw will determine the qualifying order for each class.
Each will receive a 5-lap qualifying session.
Your driver’s fastest lap will set their starting position for Race 6.
Your driver’s second-fastest lap will set their starting position for Race 7.
Once the green flag flies, every laps counts toward qualifying –– including spinouts or incidents during the session. For example, if a driver spins on lap 3, that lap will still count as one of the five qualifying laps.
This format rewards both speed and consistency, giving every driver two opportunities to earn a strong starting position for each race.
We will be using transponders in this race. We have them to rent if you don’t own one. Please add to your cart at the bottom of this page. We also have them to purchase at the bottom of this page if you prefer.
Breaks
We plan to have a 30 minute break between qualifying and Feature Race 6 and a 90 minute break between Feature Race 6 & 7.
Racing Credits $$$ from Rained Out Double Header
If you have a race credit from our rained out double header we still need you to fill out the form below to register for the race.
After form completion, please email secretary@ngqma.com to inform us you plan to use a race credit. If you do this, you do not have to purchase registration below.
